Dr. Annie Cumming has a Doctorate in Physical Therapy and has completed extensive post doctoral training in pelvic floor physical therapy, pregnancy and postpartum care. She has advanced training in pelvic floor conditions related to pain, bowel and bladder health, and pregnancy. With over 17 years experience as a yoga teacher, her holistic approach to wellness allows her to integrate a cohesive blend of evidence-based clinical research, manual therapy, mindfulness, and breath practice into patient care and yoga classes. She is passionate about working with the whole person, not just the symptoms, to support living more fully in your body for an engaging healthy life.

Annie is the founder of White Pine Physical Therapy and Yoga, PLLC. She also was the program lead/founder for the Interprofessional PT and Urogynecological Postpartum Clinic at NorthShore University Health System in Skokie, IL.

Annie has experience working in hospital based inpatient and outpatient clinics as well as private practice. She is an active member of both the Academy of Pelvic Health Physical Therapy and American Physical Therapy Association of Washington.

Annie also teaches workshops and classes in areas that focus on pelvic floor health education. She lives on Bainbridge Island with her husband and two young daughters where she enjoys playing with her family, exploring the coast and forest, cooking, and reading.
